An exclusive Eco-Tourism initiative has been taken into account 15 years back by a struggling teenager who took a leap to work with the prestigious University of Calcutta as a local resource person for the purpose of Ecological Research around Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary, Balasore, Orissa. Despite the challenge against the harsh needy life, Manaranjan Das manage to obtain a Masters’ Degree in Economics and eventually became an inevitable support for researchers in the field of ecology and wildlife. He now provides his service to the nature lovers and researchers and his excellence in Bird Identifying in the jungle is appreciable. In the year 2004, Manaranjan Das has been awarded as an OTDC(Govt.) approved Tourist Guide. He was also been engaged in Indo-UK Darwin Project as a Field Consultant. After this there was no looking back and Manaranjan Das has founded his own Eco-Resort namely “Hill View Resort” at Panchlingeswar foothills in vicinity of Kuldiha Wild Life Sanctuary which is the only Eco_Resort Approved by Orissa Govt. All wildlife enthusiastic and natures lovers must come and enjoy the beauty of an amazing wildlife sanctuary in the guidance of Manaranjan Das, a true nature lover who has dedicated his entire life to Bird Watching and Conservation of Nature.
